Our Belvidere stores are once again proud to sponsor the Victory Lap during the Blackhawk Area Council Pinewood Derby. This annual event, for Cub Scouts boys and girls kindergarten through fifth grade, makes its return to CherryVale Mall April 30 – May 1, 2022.
The Pinewood Derby Race is a wonderful learning experience centered on teamwork, ingenuity and sportsmanship – all for the thrill of the race! It has also created a lifetime of great memories to share with fellow racers young and old.
Historically, this signature event brings together nearly 700 youth from Northern Illinois and Southern Wisconsin. Partnered with a parent or guardian, youth compete for a chance at being the top racer in their grade level.
Our team at Kunes of Belvidere can’t wait to see how these custom race cars turn out!
